Carlos Ghosh, chefe-executivo da Renaut, disse à imprensa que anunciará a permanência ou a desistência da equipe até o fim do ano.&lt;br /&gt; Os rumores dessa crise da Renaut começaram na quarta-feira, quando os conselheiros da Renaut se encontraram em Paris para discutir o futuro da equipe, somente algumas horas depois da Toyota ter anunciado a sua saída da Fórmula 1.&lt;br /&gt; Um dos prováveis motivos dessa crise economica da equipe foi a saída de seu principal patrocinador (ING) no meio da temporada, após a descoberta da trapaça da equipe no Gp da Malásia de 2008 onde o espanhol Fernando Alonso foi beneficiado por um acidente proposital de seu companheiro de equipe (na época) Nelsinho Piquet. Antes de sua estréia na Formula 1 a equipe da Malasia pode estar envolvida em espionagem.&lt;br /&gt;  Segundo a imprensa, a lotus teria copiado um projeto da escuderia Force India, pois o ex-funcionário da Force India, Mike Gascoyne, é um dos responsáveis pelo projeto do carro da Lótus.&lt;br /&gt;  A revista &lt;i&gt;Motorsport Aktuell,&lt;/i&gt; explicou que por causa de problemas financeiros&lt;i&gt;, &lt;/i&gt;a Force India trocou a Aerolab, empresa italiana que produz túneis de vento, pela  Fondtech.   Em 1964 Emerson começou a competir de Kart, estreiando com vitória na cidade de Santo André.&lt;br /&gt; No ano de 1969 Emerson ja dava seus primeiros passos fora do Brasil. Sua primeira corrida internacional foi pela Formula Ford na holanda no dia 7 de abril. Devido ao seu altissimo desempenho nas pistas, 3 meses depois estreiou na Formula 3 Ingesa, onde foi campeão com apenas 22 anos.&lt;br /&gt; Os bons resultados e o talento do piloto logo chamou a atenção de Colin Chapman, proprietário da equipe lotus de Fórmula 1. Sua primeira vitória ocoreu em Watkins Glen.&lt;br /&gt; Em 1971, apesar de ter resultados consistentes nas provas, Emerson não venceu nenhuma delas. No ano seguinte conquistou 5 vitórias e sagrou-se o piloto mais jovem a ser campeão mundial de Formula 1, marca que só foi quebrada em 2005 pelo piloto Fernando Alonso.&lt;br /&gt; Emerson saiu da Lotus e engressou na McLaren no ano de 1974, a mudança deu certo, nesse mesmo ano o piloto se tornaria bi-campeão da F1.&lt;br /&gt;  No ano de 1975 Emerson e seu irmão fundaram a equipe &lt;img src="file:///C:/DOCUME%7E1/ADMINI%7E1/CONFIG%7E1/Temp/moz-screenshot-1.jpg" alt="" /&gt;&lt;img src="file:///C:/DOCUME%7E1/ADMINI%7E1/CONFIG%7E1/Temp/moz-screenshot-2.jpg" alt="" /&gt;&lt;img src="file:///C:/DOCUME%7E1/ADMINI%7E1/CONFIG%7E1/Temp/moz-screenshot-3.jpg" alt="" /&gt;Copersucar Fittipaldi. Equipe genuinamente brasileira, porém pouco competitiva.  Em 1976 Emerson correu pela Copersucar Fittipaldi, devido constantes abandonos o ano foi um desastre, em 1977, a equipe conseguiu resultados melhores comparados ao ano anterior porém nenhum pódio. A temporada seguinte foi o auge da equipe, conseguindo o segundo lugar na etapa brasileira da formula 1. Em sua primeira corrida oficial no kart chegou na 3° colocação, na segunda em segundo e na terceira venceu. Barrichelo foi por 5 vezes campeão Brasileiro e Paulista de Kart, três vezes foi vice e campeão Sul-Americano no ano de 1986. Depois do Kart veio a Fórmula Ford em 1989, onde com dificuldades financeiras Rubinho teve que comprar um carro de segunda mão. Foi correr de Fórmula 3 Inglesa na equipe West Surrey Racing. O carro não era muito competitivo e a equipe teve até que trocar o fornecedor de motor no meio da temporada. Mas mesmo assim conseguiu chegar em terceiro no campeonato.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Em janeiro de 1993 Rubens fez seu teste para guiar um Fórmula 1, o teste foi realizado no circuiro de Silverstone pela equipe Jordan. Naquele mesmo ano foi sua estéia.
